Carrie: The World’s Deadliest Coming of Age Story

On May 10, the MHS Player’s production of “Carrie: The Musical” will premiere. Based off of the Stephen King, Carrie: The Musical is a high action, comedic, and spooky show with lots of singing. It highlights the life of a sheltered girl who struggles with her social skills, and is a unique coming of age story, while exposing the scary reality that is high school.

The show stars students that you may know (and most likely love) such as Bethany Blakeman (21’) and Abigail Giardano (21’) as the amazingly talented and deeply devoted Margaret White, Carrie’s mother. Alicia Welch and Jonah Spitler co-direct, with this being Spitler’s final hurrah with the drama program after 4 years with the Players.

Come see the show on May 10, 12, 17, 18, 19, 25, and 26. Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30, and Sundays at 2:00.
